Chris Wilkes has founded, purchased and sold dozens of companies over the past 20 years. and invested in many more Currently CEO of EnginSoft, a company he founded in 2018, Chris serves as NTAN's Chair and a member of the board of the DEC. Chris is an active angel investor and mentor.

Chris is President and CEO of EnginSoft, a company that provides engineering software and consulting services. Manufactures around the world such as Toyota, Dana, NASA, and the US Army use its services and software to solve even the most complex industrial problems with a high degree of reliability. Chris has an extensive background in developing marketing, operations and product strategies that enhance corporate reputation, increase shareholder value and accelerate growth. Chris has previously founded, co-founded and run multiple companies to successful exits as well as corporate leadership positions at public and private corporations including Sterling Software, SANZ and AT&T.

As an angel investor and mentor, he evaluates more than 500 business plans or pitches annually from entrepreneurs and inventors seeking funding. Chris both personally invests in these companies and serves served as a judge for pitch competitions all over the state. Chris also services on multiple boards including the Dallas Entrepreneur Center and other charity and civic boards.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Texas Tech University, followed by an MBA from Texas A&M University.
